Jamestown Man Accused Of Kidnapping Woman

JAMESTOWN-A city man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly held a female against her will for nearly two days before she escaped 66 McDaniel Ave. Apt.A-1 according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Joshua Turyburry, 31, was reportedly accused by the victim of abusing her physically, emotionally and mentally. The victim sustained a broken nose, severe bruising and a chipped tooth during her imprisonment per JPD.

Turyburry was located at the apartment and arrested without incident. He is being held pending arraignment on charges of 2nd degree Kidnapping, 2nd degree Assault, two counts of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation, and 3rd and 4th degree Criminal Mischief.
