KENNEDY – New York State Police charged Andrew Holcomb, 24, of Jamestown, with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal obstruction of breathing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree menacing and second-degree harassment, following a reported domestic incident Sunday in Kennedy.
Troopers responded to a residence in Kennedy for a report of a domestic incident. They said they found the victim with multiple facial injuries. Investigation revealed that Holcomb allegedly locked the victim in a bedroom, choked her, head-butted her, threatened her life and physically prevented her from calling 911 by taking her cell phone away and striking her in the face.
Holcomb was no longer on scene however the Troopers later located Holcomb in Jamestown and placed him under arrest. Holcomb was processed at SP Jamestown, arraigned in the town of Kiantone Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail. Holcomb is scheduled to appear in the town of Poland Court next month to answer the charges.
