Jamestown Men Arrested For Burglary

SCIO – Two Jamestown men are facing charges after allegedly breaking into a unoccupied house for sale in the Town of Scio.
New York State Police responded to a report of suspicious activity late Tuesday evening. Troopers reportedly entered the house via a open back door.
Following a search police said the house was vacant. Searching the grounds Troopers found fresh footprints and called in K9 Trooper Weltz to track the subjects.

Weltz tracked the duo through a wooded area and located one of the men laying in the woods.
Police said Kenneth Kendall, 49, as in possession of a stun gun and later found to have methamphetamine.
Later in the night, Terry Kendall, 28, was located walking on Davis Hill Road and taken into custody.

Both are charged with 2nd degree burglary. Kenneth Kendall is additonal charged with criminal possession of a controled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.
They were arraigned in the Town of Friendship Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail. They are set to appear in court at a later date.
