JAMESTOWN – Jamestown police responded to a reported burglary in progress at 17 Catlin Ave. just before 8 p.m. Thursday and arrested Andrea R. Stam, 33, no address given.
Police said they spoke with a witness who said they saw Stam in the home. The homeowner told police she did not have permission to be in the home. Police located Stam on West Second Street.
Stam was arrested without incident and charged with second-degree criminal trespass. She was remanded to the city jail pending arraignment.
