Jamestown Police Seek Assistance In Armed Home Invasion, Robbery


JAMESTOWN – Police are seeking assistance in learning the identity of two white males who kicked in the door of a Chautauqua Avenue residence early Sunday morning and assaulted a woman before forcing their way into the residence.
Jamestown Police said the males, one of whom brandished a pistol, took several items from the victim before fleeing down Chautauqua Avenue towards Baker Street.
Police Captain Robert Samuelson told WNYNewsNow’s Matt Hummel that the female victim sustained minor injuries from the attack.

The males are seen wearing hooded sweatshirts with their faces partially concealed. Investigators are asking anyone with information into the attack to call them at 716-483-7531, or leave an anonymous tip at 716-483-TIPS(8477) or via the TIPS 411 App. All tips are kept confidential.
Police believe the attack was targeted based on location, and the motive is believed to be drug related.

  1. Funny….when I called to report an armed intrusion into my home….jpd didn’t show up! They called 2 hours later and asked if I still needed assistance!? I had it on video as well….guess it matters who calls, will they respond when you need them? Don’t bet on it!
