Jamestown Woman Charged In Stabbing

JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown woman allegedly stabbed a person during a domestic dispute Tuesday morning at 530 Windsor St., according to the Jamestown Police Department.
City Police originally responded to UPMC for a stabbing call. The suspect, Damaris Lopez-Mendoza, 33, was present at the hospital when officers arrived.

Lopez-Mendoza was arrested and charged with second-degree assault. She was taken to Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.
The victim was treated and released, according to JPD.
