JAMESTOWN-Jamestown Police Chief Harry Snellings told WNYNewsNow Monday the man and woman arrested Sunday evening on Barrows St. weren’t connected to the shooting.
Snellings didn’t elaborate further on why they were arrested. Here was our original report from the scene.
The shooting, again, comes two weeks after a shooting on E. 8th St., which resulted in one man being shot. Police haven’t provided an update on that investigation thus far.
Allen Witruke was sentenced earlier this year for manslaughter in the December 2015 shooting death of his wife and stepson on Barrows St.
