JPD Investigates Second Street 7/11 Robbery

Updated reporting: Police Charge Person In 7/11 Robbery
JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred Friday afternoon at the 7/11 store located at 1011 E. 2nd St.

According to police, a male suspect entered the store at 1:47 p.m. and demanded cash from the employee. The suspect reportedly fled in a silver colored Chevrolet Cavalier with a New York Plates GWY 4622.
The vehicle was reported as being stolen from a Kipp Street address earlier in the day.
“We believe our suspect took this car from an address on Kipp Street prior to committing this robbery,” Samuelson told WNYNewsNow and other reporters. “The suspect did leave the scene in the same vehicle and is believed to still have this vehicle somewhere in the Jamestown area. We are asking for anyone who may know where this vehicle is to contact us ASAP.”
