JAMESTOWN-A Jamestown man was arrested Saturday after he held a woman against her will inside the lower apartment of 152 Thayer St. according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Matthew M. Foster, 26, was allegedly pushing the women inside the residence when officers arrived. Police said the dispute escalated from a verbal argument to a physical altercation.
Foster reportedly pinned the women to a bed and prevented her from leaving the apartment before officers arrived. Foster also punched a hole in a wall per police.
Foster was charged with 2nd degree Unlawful Imprisonment, 4th degree Criminal Mischief and 2nd degree Harassment. Foster was taken to city jail pending arraignment.
