JPD: Pair Used Meth During Domestic Violence Incident, Child Present

UPDATE: Further research revealed Legere was arrested in June 2014 in a traffic stop. Troopers said Legere possessed hypodermic needles with heroin residue.

JAMESTOWN-A man and woman admitted to using methamphetamine while in the presence of a juvenile during a domestic violence at 230 Price St. Thursday morning according to the Jamestown Police Department. 

Zachary D. Legere, 27, was arrested after police allegedly discovered drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles easily accessible to the child.

Legere was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and 7th degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. The latter charge reportedly stemmed from further testing of the drug paraphernalia.

The report didn’t indicate the woman was charged.
