JPD: Unresponsive Pair Found With Used Syringes, Juvenile Discovered Unsupervised

JAMESTOWN – Two city residents were discovered intoxicated to the point of being unresponsive during an emergency response to a South Main Street residence Thursday morning, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Officers reportedly discovered used syringes on the floor. A juvenile was reportedly inside the residence without any other supervision. Jose Perez, 76, and Robin L. Smith, 45, no address given, were arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child once being released from UPMC Chautauqua Hospital.
Both were held without bail.
