JPD: Victim Was Targeted In Barrows St. Shooting

JAMESTOWN-The male victim of a Sunday evening shooting in the area of 150 Barrows St. was targeted according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Law enforcement said Monday afternoon the victim sustained non life-threatening injuries and was transported to WCA Hospital.

The investigation is currently ongoing. Anyone who may have information with this shooting is asked to contact JPD at 483-7537 or they can leave an anonymous tip at 483-TIPS(8477).

  1. To no surprise! Over the last 10 years this city has rapidly degraded into the cesspool of welfare and crime that it is today. It’s pretty bad when everyday people are now arming themselves & carrying smaller self-defense styled weapons to protect themselves & their families. Instead of fixing the problems here they keep recycling the same criminals as well. The amount of repeat offenders in this city is astronomical in comparison to larger cities throughout the US. They have clearly lost control here.

  2. You have no idea what your talk I g about. The victim was not targeted. These young punks were jumping an elderly man and the two men came down the street to try and stop them from jumping the old man and tge pu ks started shooting. Get your FACTS straight
