Kennedy Man Gets Drug Charges During CPS Infant Welfare Check

KENNEDY – A Kennedy man faces two drug charges following a Chautauqua County Child Protective Services infant welfare check Tuesday.
While assisting CPS, New York State Troopers allegedly saw two grams of marijuana, a bag containing methamphetamine and a straw containing residue in the living room.
Austin Muntz, 22, of Kennedy, was charged with seventh-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
Muntz was arrested, processed at the Jamestown Barracks and released with appearance tickets for Town of Poland Court. Troopers said Muntz was not impaired at the time of the authorities’ arrival.
