LAKEWOOD – A Lakewood man, who was originally charged on Sept. 13 with first-degree rape, is additionally charged with four counts of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Jeffrey L. Shriver, 38, of Southland Ave., Lakewood, faces the additional charges following a month-and-a-half long investigation into additional allegations.
The investigation is still ongoing into previous allegations, as well as additional charges related to child pornography possession.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Chautauqua County Criminal Investigation Division, Chautauqua County S.W.A.T., Chautauqua County Forensic Investigation Team, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, Lakewood-Busti Police Department, Jamestown Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Shriver will be scheduled to appear back in the Town of Busti court at a later date.
