Local Business Raided Following Narcotics Investigation

FREDONIA – A Fredonia man was arrested after members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and New York State Police conducted a search warrant of his business Friday morning at 3491 E. Main Rd.
Authorities reportedly seized narcotics, marijuana and other contraband during the raid, which was the result of a several month investigation into the trafficking of narcotics and stolen property.
James L. Langendorfer, 55, was charged with the following:

  • fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance
  • fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • third-degree criminal possession of a weapon
  • fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana
  • fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • second-degree criminally using drug parapheralia
  • third-degree auto stripping
  • criminal possession of stolen property (greater than $3,000)
  • third-degree grand larceny
  • second-degree possession of a forged instrument
  • illegal possession of vehicle identification numbers

The Task Force says more charges are expected as a result of the ongoing investigation, as well as the search warrant.
