BUFFALO – A man accused in one of the largest individual drug seizures in the City of Jamestown’s history plead guilty in Federal Court Thursday.
Juan Pacheco Jr., 36, entered the plea in a Buffalo Courtroom on charges of conspiracy to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, 500 grams or more of methamphetamine, and marijuana.
Investigators alleged that Pacheco was receiving kilogram quantities of cocaine and meth from California, smuggled into the U.S. from Mexico.
He was arrested in 2016 after authorities executed a search warrant of a stash house at 477 S. Main St. in Jamestown.
Police recovered approximately 9 kilograms of cocaine, 3 1/2 kilograms of methamphetamine, 3 kilograms of marijuana and around $133,000 in cash during the raid.
Sentencing scheduled for October 31st where Pacheco faces 20 years to life in prison.
