JAMESTOWN – A 31-year-old is accused of receiving $2,805 in unentitled SNAP/Food Stamp benefits between May 2015 and December 2015, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Timothy S. Fisher, 31, of 221 Lincoln St., Shinglehouse, Pa., reportedly failed to notify the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services of income within his household. Fisher was issued appearance tickets Thursday morning on charges of fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree welfare fraud and misuse of food stamps.
Fisher is scheduled to appear in the City of Jamestown Court at a later date.
