Man Allegedly Flees Police Following Domestic Incident

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man is facing a number of charges after police said he forced his way inside of a Benedict Avenue house, stole property and then ran from officers during a domesitc incident on Wednesday.

Justin D. Cusimano, 34, allegedly ran into the woods as officers arrived at the house.
Police gave chase and Cusimano was apprehended a short distance later. Police said Cusimano threw two small plastic baggies containing what appeared to be drugs during the chase.
Officers said Cusimano had an order of protection to stay away from the victim at the house.
Cusimano is charged with burglary, grand larceny, criminal contempt, crimnal possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with physical evidence.
He also allegedly had several pending arrest warrants out of the City of Jamestown.
