Man Faces Multiple Felonies After Half-Ounce Meth, Cocaine, Stun Gun Seized

CASSADAGA – A  39-year-old Brocton man is facing felony drug and weapon charges after sheriff’s deputies discovered a half-ounce of methamphetamine, cocaine, prescription pills, marijuana, digital scales and packaging materials, and a stun gun on Wednesday, according to police.  
Authorities allege Jason R. Remington  tried to hide his drugs as deputies were interviewing him in a vehicle parked near a closed business Wednesday evening.
Also charged, Nicholas Botticello, who reportedly was in possession of some marijuana. Botticello was issued an appearance ticket and released.
Remington was charged with fourth-degree felony possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree felony possession of a controlled substance, third-degree felony criminal possession of a weapon, three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
