Man Wanted For Violating Probation Runs From Cops, Nabbed Next Day

JAMESTOWN-A man who reportedly ran from police Wednesday was arrested at 120 Hazeltine Ave. the following day.

Jamestown Police Captain Robert Samuelson told WNYNewsNow the man, whom he didn’t identify, was wanted for probation. The man ran from the same address Wednesday as police attempted to detain him per Samuelson.

  1. It seems like the City of Jamestown Police have been pretty busy these days, yet there is talk of cutting the department way back and using the Sheriffs Department to pick up the empty spots. We need out city cops more then ever now. No one will look after this town better than its own.
