Missing One-Month-Old Found Safe

GENEVA – The Amber Alert for a missing one-month-old is now canceled after City of Geneva Police said the missing infant was found safe.

Police said one-month-old Gionna Harter was taken by her mother Katrina Harter, 31, from a house on Rock Cabin Road around 5 a.m. Thursday.
The alleged abductor turned herself over to Geneva Police later in the night.
WROC is reporting that Katrina Harter took the child to avoid a family court order where she was suppose to transfer the infant to another party.
Earlier in the evening vehicles associated with Katrina Harter have been cleared according to authorities.

In a Facebook Live video early Thursday morning, Katrina Harter is seen with her daughter. “I’m just letting everyone know she’s alright,” said Harter.

Investigators thank the public for calling in tips and providing information to assist in locating the child. Police said they followed up on over 100 leads throughout the region.
