NIAGARA – A 17-year-old Niagara youth faces multiple sexual abuse and rape charges following an alleged incident Sept. 19.
On Tuesday, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) stationed out of State Police barracks in Niagara arrested a 17-year-old male.
He is charged with first-degree felony rape, third-degree rape, first-degree sex abuse forcible compulsion first-degree sex abuse physically helpless and second-degree physically helpless.
On September 19, the BCI was notified of a possible sex crime through New York Department of Social Services Child Abuse Hotline.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect had forcible sexual contact between multiple 15/16-year-old girls.
The suspect was arrested and processed at SP Niagara and arraigned at the town of Lewiston Court and posted $5,000 cash bail.
