Orchard Park Man Reportedly Discovered Disoriented, Bleeding After Allegedly Stealing Vehicle

GOWANDA-An Orchard Park man was reportedly discovered disoriented and bleeding from a head injury in the parking lot of Iroquois Smoke Shop Wednesday according to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.

Joseph Fasolino, 51, is accused of fleeing State Police after a crash along Rt. 219 Tuesday evening.   While fleeing the crash scene, the Sheriff’s Office said Fasolino appeared to have stolen a vehicle from a business on Trevett Road in Boston.

The suspect was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of injuries suffered during the crash and then was transferred to the Erie County Holding Center.

The Sheriff’s Office charged Fasolino with felony counts of criminal possession of stolen property and grand larceny, as well as a misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of a vehicle.  The defendant is being held at the holding center pending his arraignment in Boston Town Court.
