Pair Arrested In Barrett Avenue Burglary/Shooting Incident

JAMESTOWN – City Police released the names of two men involved in a Barrett Ave. burglary/shooting incident Wednesday evening.

Douglas B. Beardsley, 33, and Jarried M. Dean, 25, allegedly entered a house, occupied by several people, unlawfully before firings several rounds from a stolen firearm.

Both men were reportedly located a short distance from the scene, and were taken into custody. Dean, while in custody, was allegedly discovered with two unprescribed hydrocodone pills.

Beardsley was charged with 1st degree burglary, 2nd degree criminal possession of a weapon, 1st degree menacing, 1st degree reckless endangerment, 4th degree criminal possession of stolen property, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and 4th degree criminal mischief.

Dean was charged with 1st degree burglary, 2nd degree obstructing governmental administration, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and 7th degree criminal possession of a stolen substance.

Both men are awaiting arraignment in city jail.

Watch ya mouth unless u know them personally someone obviously ticked them to a point to do that kind of stuff cuz they don’t just do things out of habbit something more happen then what’s being said here and nobody knows the real whole story.. expecially with Beardsley’s being family so I personally know them and what they abou!!! Thanks again and yes some people do stupid things but again without knowing the whole story u shouldn’t talk bad on them cuz u never know what fully happen..

  2. You can find these two but you can’t find those responsible for the stabbing death of Dyllan Ownbey. Tell me how this makes any sense ?
