Pair Charged With Interfering With 911 Response

JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man and woman are charged after they allegedly interfered with police during a 911 response to a West Eighth Street address early Thursday morning, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Bless M. Grant, 25, allegedly started to yell at officers and was advised to stay back from the scene. Grant approached officers from behind, allegedly preventing officers from performing an official function by interfering.

Grant is charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana.

An 18-year-old female is charged with unnecessary noise after she allegedly became disorderly by yelling loudly at officers and others, causing a scene.

Grant and the female were taken to Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.
