Pair Of Area Residents Charged With Heroin, Meth Possession

ELLERY – A pair of local men face charges after heroin and meth were allegedly seized from a vehicle they were in early Saturday morning, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. 
The driver, Harry J. Radke, 41, of South Erie Street, Mayville, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic needle and moved from lane unsafely.
Scott A. Eddy, 19, of Jamestown, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies were originally called to investigate a vehicle in the ditch on Route 430 earlier in the evening but, according to the Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle left the scene and was located later on Lenhart Street.
Both men were held at the Chautauqua County Jail on pre-arraignment bail and will appear in Town of Ellery Court at a later date to answer charges.
