JAMESTOWN-A man on State Parole was arrested Saturday morning near the corner of W. 3rd and Cherry Sts. after police discovered a quantity of heroin, meth, and cash during a traffic stop according to Jamestown Police.
Daniel R. McKay, 23, also reportedly drove with a suspended drivers permit. McKay was charged with 3rd and 7th degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and an Inadequate Muffler.
McKay is in city jail awaiting arraignment.

A search on New York State’s Department of Corrections website revealed McKay recently spent time in prison for 3rd degree Attempted Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
McKay was also charged with 3rd Degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and 4th degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon during an April 2014 raid of Fairview Ave.
