Person Charged In Jamestown Stabbing

JAMESTOWN – One person is charged with second-degree assault following a stabbing Thursday afternoon near the corner of Falconer and Bowen Streets.
Jamestown Police Captain Robert Samuelson told WNYNewsNow that more information will be released Friday in regards to the stabbing, and he didn’t identify the suspect. The suspect is currently in Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment.
The victim, whose identity also wasn’t revealed, is currently receiving treatment for the stab wound at UPMC Chautauqua.

A number of people were detained on Blanchard Street just blocks from the stabbing scene. Samuelson said that only one person is being charged, and they were arrested at Blanchard Street.
