Police Discover Drugs, A Large Sum of Cash And A Malnourished Dog During Raid of City Apartment

JAMESTOWN-Two city residents were arrested Friday in a raid at 945 E. 2nd St. after police discovered more than 28 grams of cocaine, a quantity of marijuana, illegal fireworks and more than $9,000 in cash all in the presence of a young child according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Eric L. Reese, 30, and Nichole J. Farrar, 28, also allegedly left a malnourished dog chained to a pipe in the location’s basement without noticeable access to food or water for some time. Police took the dog to a shelter along with a second dog.

Authorities also reportedly seized illegal fireworks.

Both are charged with 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Cruelty to Animals. Additional charges are expected after further investigation per JPD.
