Police Investigate Prendergast Avenue Stabbing

JAMESTOWN – Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred near 608 Prendergast Ave. Wednesday afternoon, according to Jamestown Police Captain Robert Samuelson.

At least one person was transported to UMPC Chautauqua Hospital for treatment.
Samuelson said police also investigated another reported stabbing a block away on Spring Street, although he said the person was not stabbed, but rather pepper sprayed.
Captain Samuelson said the suspect is known to police.
