Quartet Arrested In Drug Trafficking Investigation

DUNKIRK –  Four people were arrested Wednesday morning after the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant of 527 S. Roberts Rd. that resulted from a months-long investigation.

Before the search, the Task Force reportedly made numerous controlled purchases from the suspects at the residence. At the time of the search, authorities reportedly had an arrest warrant for Onix Lopez-Ortiz, 38, of the aforementioned address. The Task Force reportedly seized over a half-ounce of heroin, marijuana, and a large quantity of money.
Lopez-Ortiz, Myra Rivera-Cruz, 28, and Jann Monanez-Calderon, 38, all of the aforementioned address, and Pedro L. Rivera, 59, of 8900 Glasgow Rd., Fredonia, were all charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Lopez-Ortiz faces an additional charge of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, as well as third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
All four people are currently in City of Dunkirk Jail without bail pending further action of the court.
