JAMESTOWN – Outgoing City Council President Greg Rabb (D) told WNYNewsNow Monday evening he feels safe being in the city despite the growing crime rate.
“In 32 years, I’ve never felt the need to have somebody walk me out to my car after classes (Rabb is a professor at JCC),” Rabb said. “I always have the security number (For Buffalo State, also professor there) in my wallet in case I need to have somebody walk me to my car at night.”
Rabb said his extensive traveling for job opportunities has influenced his prospective.
“Again, I think my prospective comes from working all over the place. For all of our (Jamestown’s) problems, we have more assets and pluses here,” Rabb added.
