JAMESTOWN-A city man wanted by state parole was arrested Tuesday morning after leading police on a vehicle chase-turned-foot pursuit according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Scott F. Wynn, 42, the man who served three separate terms in state prison, was allegedly involved in a fight-turned-chase.
A fight reportedly occurred inside of a vehicle near the area of W. 3rd and Jefferson Sts. The driver allegedly pulled off and led police on a chase.
The vehicle reportedly stopped a short time later in the area of Front St. and Hall Ave.
Wynn allegedly jumped out of the vehicle and ran before police arrested him. Wynn reportedly gave police a false name before they discovered his identity and that he had a “small” bag of narcotics.
The Jamestown man was charged with 2nd degree Obstructing Governmental Administration, 7th degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd degree Criminal Impersonation and 2nd degree Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia.
He was transported to city jail for arraignment. Wynn previously served three separate state prison stints.
