PORTLAND – A reward is being offered for information on a homicide case in the Town of Portland.
Buffalo Crime Stoppers said a $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person(s) responsible for Brian Hayden’s homicide.
State Police Captain Eric Balon told WNYNewsNow that his department will treat Hayden’s death as a homicide, but that could change if investigators receive information that proves otherwise.
Hayden was found dead on April 21 off of Route 20.
New York State Police said the man was homeless and known to travel from his camp west of Brocton to Fredonia daily.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers Buffalo at 716-867-6161.
