RUSSELL, Pa. – On Monday, investigators with the Jamestown-based New York State Police arrested Dane Sobocinski, 28, of Russell, for third-degree Insurance Fraud and 10 counts of first-degree Offering a False Instrument for Filing.
Investigators were advised by the New York State Department of Labor that Sobocinski collected more than $3,000 in unemployment insurance while he was actually employed. Sobocinski was placed under arrest, processed at SP Jamestown and released with appearance tickets directing him to appear in the city of Jamestown Court on a later date.
