ELLICOTT-A motorcycle operated by an intoxicated Lakewood man led deputies on a high speed chase early Sunday according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Dustin D. Pickett, 28, traveled at speeds of 100 mph on Fairmount Ave leading police on a chase through the Town of Busti shortly after 2:30 AM.
Pickett eventually crashed his motorcycle on W. Summit St and surrendered to police.
The man did not sustain injuries according to the Sheriff’s report.
Pickett was taken into custody for DWI and multiple traffic violations.
He was remanded to county jail according to the Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were assisted by Lakewood-Busti Police during the pursuit.
Yeah high speed chase,,out trying to kill Innocents then blame the motorcycle,once you have plate don’t chase this could have ended lots worse
They don’t think that way instead the cops pursue. Then ppl go faster and usually have more damage
