SHERMAN – A Sherman man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a child porn investigation according to the New York State Police.
State Police say they received a citizen complaint stating that Peter Baker, 65, allegedly lured their 10-year-old daughter to his apartment by offering her $20, but showed her an inappropriate picture on his phone, instead.
A search warrant was obtained and executed at Baker’s residence, ultimately revealing images of child pornography per State Police.
Baker arrived at the State Police barracks with attorney Phillip Cala for processing on charges of possessing a sexual performance by a child and endangering the welfare of a child. He was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Town of Sherman Court next month.
