GERRY – An investigation into a past-tense domestic incident lead to the arrest of Stephanie Frank, 36, of Sinclairville Monday, according to the New York State Police.
Frank and the victim reportedly met at a neutral location for a child exchange, when an argument ensued. During the argument, Frank allegedly accelerated her vehicle in reverse, striking the victim with the open car door and knocking him to the ground.
The victim was reportedly able to move to avoid being struck a second time. A child under the age of 17 was reportedly inside Frank’s vehicle.
Frank was arrested and charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of child. She was released with appearance tickets per the District Attorney’s recommendation, according to State Police.
Frank is scheduled to appear in the town of Gerry Court next month to answer the charges
