South Dayton Man Charged With Overnight Murder Of Son


SOUTH DAYTON – A South Dayton man is charged with murder after Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Deputies said he shot and killed his son overnight.

Richard L. Tyma, 73, allegedly shot his 46-year-old son, Daniel Tyma, inside their home on Mill Street during a domestic disturbance at 2:45 a.m. Saturday.
Tyma is charged with second-degree murder and was arraigned in the Village of South Dayton Court.
He’s currently being held at the Cattaraugus County Jail without bail.
