State Police Charge Man With Criminal Contempt

GERRY – New York State Police investigated a possible violation of an order of protection in Gerry on Wednesday.

Troopers said Christopher O’Neil, 34, of Jamestown,  allegedly violated the order by using a third party to contact the victim. He was charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

O’Neil was arrested at his residence, processed at State Police Jamestown barracks and released with an appearance ticket directing him to appear in the City of Jamestown Court later.
