State Police Investigate Threat Against Multiple Area Schools

MAYVILLE – New York State Police are investigating a threat made against multiple area schools. 
New York State Police Captain Eric Balon told WNYNewsNow the situation is under control. Troopers are at Ashville Boces, Chautauqua Lake and Randolph Academy.
The alleged suspects are being questioned by troopers, Balon said, adding the situation is under control and there is no danger at this time.
Chautauqua Lake was under lockout protocol, but as of 10 a.m. Friday is no longer under lockout.
Earlier Chautauqua Lake Central Schools officials contacted law enforcement once they discovered the threat.
