LIMESTONE – A Jamestown man faces felony drug charges following a traffic stop in Limestone by Olean-based State Police.
On Saturday, Troopers arrested Blake D. Smith, 43, of Jamestown, charging him with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and several traffic violations.
During a traffic stop in the hamlet of Limestone in the town of Carrollton, Troopers conducted a probable cause search of Smith’s vehicle, which led to the discovery of nearly 35 grams of cocaine and nearly 39 grams of crack cocaine, along with a small quantity of marijuana.
Smith was arrested and arraigned in Allegany Town Court. He was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail without bail. He is due to appear in Carrollton Town Court later this month.
