Glen, N.Y.– A pair of Buffalo residents are behind bars after State Troopers said they discovered nearly two kilograms of cocaine during a traffic stop on Monday night.
Authorities said the incident occurred shortly after 8:00 on I-90 in Glen, N.Y.
The driver, identified as Arlynda D. Ray, 46, and Kayode K. Yard, 46,were charged with Class A Felony first-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Class B Felony third-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, police said.
Ray was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and vehicle and traffic violations.
Both suspects were arraigned in the Town of Glen Court and remanded to the Montgomery County Jail with no bail.
They are scheduled to return to the Town of Glen Court at 6 p.m. Thursday.
