A Sugar Grove man was found guilty of first-degree murder Thursday afternoon in the shooting death of his wife.
A jury convicted Matthew White, 34, for the murder of his 32-year-old wife Jessica White, according to a report by Erie News Now.
Prosecutors proved that White shot his wife in 2017 four times and then himself inside of their car that was parked outside of their Brown Hill Road house in Sugar Grove.
The couple’s three children were inside the house when the shooting occurred.
White’s attorney Rob Kinnear told Erie News Now that a third person shot the couple, possibly over a drug debt he owned.
