JAMESTOWN-City drug agents continued their work of Prendergast Ave. after executing a search warrant at 839 Prendergast Ave. Wednesday morning yielding a “large quantity of marijuana and cash” according to Jamestown Police.
Armando R. Jenkins, 19, no address given, was taken into custody after police located 13.8 ozs. of marijuana, $6,700 cash and other drug paraphernalia.

Jenkins is charged with 3rd degree Criminal Possession of Marijuana, a Class E-Felony.
Jenkins is reportedly in city jail awaiting arraignment.
Jamestown Police Chief Harry Snellings recently told WNYNewsNow’s Ryan Hedrick investigators had a lot of complaints from neighbors in the area. Police determined it was appropriate to pursue leads in the Prendergast Ave. area as issues mounted in the 800 block.
The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force was assisted by K-9 units from JPD, New York State Police and the Lakewood-Busti Police Department.
