Three Arrested In Domestic Incident Which Yielded Drugs, Illegal Guns

JAMESTOWN-Three people were arrested in a domestic incident Friday morning at 601 Lafayette St. Lwr. Apt. after police discovered a large quantity of heroin, cocaine and two loaded handguns according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The original call came due to a person, identified as Juan A. Tufino, Jr., 26, Jamestown, holding an individual at gunpoint. Police reportedly discovered a group of adults and children outside the residence.

Jean C. Jimenez Camacho, 27, Jamestown reportedly initiated a brief foot pursuit with police. He was charged with 2nd degree Obstructing Governmental Administration.

Tufino was reportedly discovered in a back bedroom.

Police reportedly obtained a search warrant as residents were providing “limited” cooperation.

Tufino was charged with multiple counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, three counts of 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (two for heroin, one for cocaine), 4th degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of 2nd degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 2nd degree Criminal Contempt, Obstructing Governmental Administration and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia.

Tenant Sasha L. Montanez, 30, was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Firearm, 4th degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, three counts of 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (two for heroin, one for cocaine), Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia and multiple counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

All three were transported to City Jail pending arraignment.

Tufino was previously charged in a pistol-whipping last month.
