Traffic Stop Leads To Possession Charges

JAMESTOWN РA Wednesday traffic stop on Route 60, Jamestown, led to New York State Police to charge Travis Terry, 26, of Conewango Valley, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Seventh-Degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Police said Terry was pulled over for an alleged traffic violation and during the traffic stop, Terry was found to be under the influence of methamphetamine and in possession of a pipe containing methamphetamine residue.
He was transported to the Jamestown barracks where he was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert.
Terry was then processed, issued traffic tickets and an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court next month to answer the charges.
