DUNKIRK-Two people were arrested Friday morning after authorities executed a search warrant at 632 Deer St. Upper Apt., which resulted in the seizure of a stolen handgun and materials used to package and sell crack cocaine according to the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
Ontario R. Eldridge, 31, of the address, was reportedly wanted for third degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and 3rd degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance after a lengthy investigation into the alleged sale of crack cocaine from this location by him.
Eldridge was additionally charged with 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 4th degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and Unlawfully Growing of Marijuana, with the latter charge reportedly stemming from authorities discovering a growing operation.
Katelyn M. Smith, 27, also of the address, was charged with 4th degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 4th degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and Unlawfully Growing of Marijuana.
Both are in county jail without bail pending further action of the court. Additional charges are expected for both after other seized items are analyzed.
