Two Major Dunkirk Cocaine Traffickers Arrested

DUNKIRK-Two major Dunkirk cocaine traffickers were arrested Tuesday evening at separate locations according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Fred A. Santiago, 29, 80 Lincoln Ave., and Michael L. Pacheco, 26, 15 Webster St., allegedly conspired to deliver more than an ounce of cocaine to a Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force agent.

Agents reportedly discovered approximately 28.5 ounces of cocaine (street value of $50,000), $46,000 in U.S. currency, postal money orders, scales, packaging materials and a conacine press used to process cocaine for sale during a raid of Santiago’s residence.

Pacheco was arrested earlier Tuesday on Vineyard Dr. with reportedly more than 4.5 ounces of cocaine.

Pacheco was charged with 2nd degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance (A-2 Felony) and 2nd degree Conspiracy (B-Felony). Pacheco is in County Jail on $150,000 cash/$300,000 cash.

Santiago was charged with 2nd degree Conspiracy and was remanded to County Jail without bail.

Additional state and federal charges are reportedly expected for both men. Additional arrests may be made.
