DUNKIRK – Two Erie County residents were charged after multiple fights broke at the Best Western Hotel on Friday night, police said.
Michelle Birkmeyer, 19, of Hamburg, and Jake Helenbrook, 20, of Cheektowaga, were allegedly fighting in the parking lot shortly before 9:30 when deputies arrived.
Authorities said Birkmeyer and Helenbrook were warned to stop fighting but reportedly did not heed the warning and were observed fighting again as deputies were leaving.
The suspects were charged with disorderly conduct and taken to Chautauqua County Jail.
Both are scheduled to appear in Town of Dunkirk court at a later date.
